Guided by the principles of Responsive Contextualism, Mrs. B House explores a refined architectural language that responds to its Highveld setting while creating a layered and immersive internal spatial experience.

The design is anchored by strong horizontal forms, deep overhangs, and carefully proportioned volumes that balance solidity with transparency. Externally, the architecture presents a composed and controlled presence, while internally it unfolds into a dramatic double-volume living space that connects multiple levels through light, material continuity, and visual openness. Every element — from the linear articulation of the façade to the sculptural staircase and integrated detailing — is designed to enhance spatial flow and clarity. The result is a residence that merges architectural precision with warmth and inhabitable luxury.
