House Saramago is a luxurious residential design. The elevated site made it possible to excavate into the mountain and to expose the rock below which was left exposed in the underground cellar walls.

The open plan double volume living area on the ground floor opens onto the lap pool and the manicured garden. The bedrooms and gym on the top floor are wrapped around the double volume living area while enjoying external private views. The open plan main bedroom layout overlooks the double volume living area during the day while a sliding screen slides off the wall at night to protect the couple’s privacy and security.
