This is achieved by positioning the main bedroom and private study on one side of the main open plan living area while the other bedrooms are located on the other side, thus providing privacy yet connection for all. All bedrooms are en-suite.
Aesthetically, the house has a steel roof in two sections with the back opening up towards the northern sunlight in order to allow for deep winter natural light penetration. The covered entertainment area opens up onto the open deck and pool area and it is covered by an automated horizontal louvered roof that opens up in winter to allow natural sunlight into the living areas. A double sided fireplace serves as a divider of the seating and dining functions on the open plan area.
