House Swart was designed as a first home for a bachelor with the idea to cater for the possibility of starting a family.
This is a compact open plan house that features 3 bedrooms en-suite upstairs and an open plan living area downstairs. The main bedroom is situated on a prominent central place on the house plan overlooking the double volume lounge below.
Aesthetically, the home was designed with full face brick external walls and a flat concrete roof. The style being a vernacular interpretation of minimalistic modern Architecture.
