House Nel is designed on a steep slope on the side of a north facing Pretoria hill.

At the house is designed on 2 levels. The ground level houses the garages and double volume entrance while the top floor is divided in 3 segments with the open plan living area in the middle flanked by the 2 en-suite bedrooms.

Architecturally, the house is an off-shutter concrete structure with cantilever concrete slabs being the main architectural feature.
