House Mhele

Copperleaf Estate, Pretoria

House Mhele is being built on a stand bordering the Copperleaf golf course fairway.

Architecturally, it is a hybrid of a concrete and steel structure with the “floating” roofs being designed out of steel with perimeter clerestory glazing. The top floor of the house is cladded with Corten Steel giving the house an organic elemental characteristic.
